The Magnolia Road and Avondale Avenue intersections were evaluated according to their Level of Service (LOS) in their current condition and with proposed improvements.

Intersection LOS measures traffic conditions with a range that varies from F to A. LOS F represents high levels of congestion, where many drivers are unable to pass through the intersection under the first green signal they see. LOS A represents very low levels of congestions, where drivers pass through the intersection with little delay.
SAVANNAH HIGHWAY at MAGNOLIA ROAD
With the proposed improvements, the Magnolia Road intersection is is projected to experience delay reductions of 71% in the a.m. peak hour and 76% in the p.m. peak hour.
SAVANNAH HIGHWAY at AVONDALE AVENUE
With the proposed improvements, the Avondale Avenue intersection is is projected to experience delay reductions of 34% in the a.m. peak hour and 93% in the p.m. peak hour.
SAVANNAH HIGHWAY at COBURG ROAD
Improved Nicholson Street access will alleviate some congestion by reducing the current neighborhood traffic rerouting to Coburg Road.
