Charleston County held an online public information meeting regarding the proposed design improvements from August 1, 2022 to September 23, 2022.  Click here to see a summary of the online meeting.

 

Based on the public’s feedback, the project team is moving forward with the Savannah Highway at Dupont Road/Stinson Drive and Wappoo Road intersections, ahead of the Avondale area improvements.  The City of Charleston is coordinating with property owners affected by the proposed Avondale Road realignment.
