Charleston County held an online public information meeting regarding the proposed design improvements from August 1, 2022 to September 23, 2022. Click here to see a summary of the online meeting.
Based on the public’s feedback, the project team is moving forward with the Savannah Highway at Dupont Road/Stinson Drive and Wappoo Road intersections, ahead of the Avondale area improvements. The schedule for Dupont Road/Stinson Drive & Wappoo Road intersections is below.
The City of Charleston is coordinating with property owners affected by the proposed Avondale Road realignment. The schedule for Avondale Area Improvements will be determined once the City of Charleston’s right of way acquisition is complete.
